The Waikanae Beach Top 10 Holiday Park is situated within close walking distance of Gisborne City and all its facilities (including bars, restaurants, shops etc.) and is situated on Gisborne's main beach. To Google Map this location click here. When conditions are right, this is an excellent beach for learning to surf, with gentle waves. There are also a number of learn-to-surf coaches who operate in the summer months.
Are now available at the Waikanae Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park for self-contained camper vans at a cost of $10 per night. Should you require any extra facilities (ie. showers, cooking, dump station, etc.) these will need to be paid for separately.
The Park-Over Facilities are in a secure, fenced-off area so you will have no concerns leaving your camper van while you wander off on your Gisborne adventures.
Please Note: In the near future, the Gisborne District Council will be introducing parking fines for camper vans parked illegally overnight.
